ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Position Summary
This position will be responsible for performing mold, tooling and material changeovers, troubleshooting machines and processing defects, providing technical expertise on machine processing and mold set-up, optimizing machine efficiency and ensuring production conforms to quality and customer specifications.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform mold set-up and changes, machine start-ups, lock outs and shut downs as required
- Set-up tools and equipment for production processing
- Prepare First Piece Inspection to ensure conformance and product requirements are met
- Work with maintenance, tooling & quality to reduce quality related concerns/issues
- Ensure cycle time, weight and mold change requirements are followed
- Perform tooling preventative maintenance
- Conduct audits on machines & monitor parts for quality
- Reduce scrap
- Respond to operator needs, quality concerns, processing & set-up Issues

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Work Experience Required
Plastic injection molding
Plastic injection molding
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and spoken
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Understand molding process and injection molding machine set-up
- Must operate a crane
- Must drive forklift
- Must be flexible to work a 12 hour shift schedule and night shift
- Successfully complete RJG Training
