Our Rail Facility Assets Office is seeking a Millwright to ensure GO Transit facilities, plant equipment and systems are operated and maintained in a safe and effective manner.
What will I be doing?
- Operates repairs and maintains equipment, systems, and structures .
- Troubleshoots minor electrical issues.
- Prepares records for the Supervisor relative inspections, work accomplished, etc.
- Operates and maintains assigned vehicles, equipment, and tools safely.
- Monitors the operation of on-site contractors.
- Identifies parts, components and materials required for repairs.
- Provides guidance to Plant Mechanics and Plant Serviceperson.
- Carries out emergency measures.
- Purchases parts, components, and materials relative to facility requirements.
