Job Description


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product & Marketing, as the Marketing Manager, Retail & Internal Brands, you will drive the retail strategy across all segments, lead the development and activation of Sodexo Canada service brands and culinary concepts to support the current and future state of Sodexo’s business, environment landscape and opportunities for growth. You will support Sodexo’s profitable growth strategy by supporting segment and client-centric efforts to drive client loyalty and advocacy for Sodexo.

The Food Services strategy consists of a combination of programs to support back and front office services (Management Systems, Offers, Signature Internal Brands and National Brands, and Retail). Each element addresses the needs of our broad consumer base, delivering highly differentiated options, while building brand equity for Sodexo in the categories of fast casual, convenience, café environments, catering, and mutualized promotions.

Programs and technology systems are deployed to support all segments, creating a strong foundation for successful operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As part of the Food Services team, your role will be to:

  • Adapt new Sodexo service brands, culinary concepts, and retail programs to drive profitable growth and improve the guest experience for Canada
  • Manage central support for CCX digital marketing functional support and initiatives
  • Leverage insights to plan national marketing promotions and mutualized Limited Time Offers calendar across all segments.
  • Execute “snacking & beverage strategy”, including annual updates to the In The Zone program
  • Liaise with external vendor partners to leverage product innovation and resources, and support onsite activation of snacking & cold beverage LTO calendar.
  • Support segment marketing on new site openings and brand deployment (assets, signage, branding).
  • Work with external design agencies to develop, create and manage print and digital assets to support onsite execution of brands, concepts, and offers.
  • Maintain and update Food Services retail content and materials on internal platforms, including Retail Ranger and Sodexo Net.
  • Deliver consistent communication and rollout to segment marketing leads and ensure site readiness for retail program and offer activation.

Qualifications


What you’ll need to succeed

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in brand marketing and retail
  • Post secondary education (Marketing Communications)
  • Knowledge and understanding of unit operations to recommend, implement and complete projects.
  • Detail-oriented person, meticulous and organized
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders and influence at all levels.
  • Bilingual English & French is a strong asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
