The Marketing Copywriter is a vital part of our Marketing team, being a voice for the brand, as well as generating growth, and cultivating good relationships with customers. The Marketing Copywriter effectively takes the ideas and values of Füm and puts them into easily understood wording.

Previous experience in copywriting within a marketing role required.

*NOTE* This is a freelance, project-based position

Responsibilities:

The Marketing Copywriter will work directly with the Marketing team and CMO and be responsible for the following areas:

• Developing written creative content for Füm marketing materials and website
• Creating and coordinating all written copy within marketing campaigns with the Creative Director and Campaign Manager
• Generating innovative and creative approaches to improving Füm’s written and verbal communication with customers
• Writing compelling content for the website, blog, social media, etc.
• Directly communicating and educating customers about Füm’s mission and products.

Key characteristics required: proficient written marketing skills, strong written and verbal editing skills, understanding of sales copy, attention to detail, organization, quick learner, initiative taker, problem-solver, strong written and verbal communication, efficiency, positive attitude, strong collaboration skills, creative mindset, strong sales skills

Required Experience:

• Previous work experience in Marketing Copywriting
• Previous work in E-commerce
• Strong written and verbal English

Key Performance Indicators:

• Effective communication in Email & SMS
• Measurable growth in the Email & SMS channel of marketing through conversion rates, open rates, campaign ROIs, etc.
• Effective management of responsibilities
• Active input on improving Email and SMS marketing systems to improve efficiency, efficacy, and growth
• Thorough understanding of Füm values and actively implementing them into work practices.
• Effective collaboration and communication with Marketing team members

Contribution: This position is part time on a project basis. There would be opportunities for an exceptional candidate to transition into a permanent part time role at a later date. The approximate time commitment for this role is 5-20 hours a week, depending on projects. This position is work-from-home.

Future Advancement Opportunities: Development in this job will set up the applicant to be a likely candidate for a permanent role in marketing or management jobs within marketing.

Data Privacy: The role will be subject to the signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

Equipment Requirements: this role requires that you have a reliable computer to work on with a good, reliable internet connection.
