We’re searching for a strategic leader to join our IT division as a Manager, Master Data Management (MDM). In this role, you will report into the EVP, IT and lead a MDM program, that enables Aurora to effectively leverage enterprise data to drive revenues, promote innovation, and reduce costs. You will lead the development, documentation, implementation, and operations of the MDM software as well as its related processes and procedures, across the organization. Sound Interesting? As the Manager, MDM you will…

  • Establish and manage the MDM Program for the maintenance and integrity of the organization's master data
  • Provide leadership to the team to inspire high performance and results through coaching, mentoring, developing, and training
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business and IT to develop a roadmap for the MDM program, managing the strategic and technical needs of all stakeholders and projects at Aurora
  • Work with leaders of functional teams across the organization to improve the design and flow of Master and Reference data across teams
  • Develop and document data governance policies, processes, and guidelines, working together with business teams to nurture a culture of accountability for complete and accurate data
  • Engage a cross-functional team to build an MDM center of excellence
  • Coordinate with external contractors and consultants, as needed, to build and enhance the MDM program and platforms

You will be setup for success if you have…

  • A minimal of seven years of experience in a related role with deep knowledge and experience with MDM tools, processes, and policies
  • Post-secondary education, such as a Bachelor’s Degree, in Computer Science or Finance (we would also welcome an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
  • 3 years of direct people management and leading delivery through others
  • 5 years of data management experience at the enterprise level within an ERP

Bonus points if you have…

  • Experience with other Data Governance tools and processes including Data Quality, Data Cataloging, Glossary, and Lineage management
  • Prior experience with cloud-based solutions and data management warehouse solutions platform
