D U T I E S
The Manager, Campus Living, Commuting and Parking is responsible for effectively leading a
diverse team of engaged staff to operational, financial, and strategic success. They will lead
departments that deliver ongoing value to Ancillary Services, Red River College Polytech, the
Campus Living department, the Commuting and Parking department as well as the customers
served.

R E Q U I R E D Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S
  • Diploma with focus on Business Administration, Operations, Leadership, or Social Sciences.
Combination of education and related experience may be considered
  • Several years experience in management including operational, financial, human resource and
planning
  • Several years experience utilizing technology and software, including but not limited to,

inventory management, enterprise-wide systems like budgeting, reporting or operationally
related technologies and systems

  • Several years experience leading and driving operational improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate expectations, prioritize efforts and achieve a high
degree of accountability, both personally and operationally
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and successfully manage competing tasks in a fast-

paced environment, while adhering to mutually agreed upon timelines and maintaining high
quality standards

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work collaboratively, efficiently and support the
development of others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of internal and external
stakeholders
  • Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and
continuous improvement

  • Demonstrated successful experience managing in a unionized environment
  • Demonstrated Leadership and Change Management training that highlights knowledge gained
and implemented
  • Experience guiding operational units inside larger organizations
C O N D I T I O N S O F E M P L O Y M E N T

  • This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
  • This position may be required to work overtime
  • This position may be required to travel
  • May be required to work at various RRC campuses
  • Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including a

  • Incumbent must be physically capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of the

position. A medical certificate from a certified physician will be required.
