Responsible for managing the accounts payable team, you’ll be relied upon to lead the automation of their current accounts payable process while ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all accounts payable related activities. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the main responsibilities for this role include:

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote the autonomation of the full A/P process
• Lead A/P team including hiring, training, supervising and mentoring
• Assist with the development of policies and procedures and ensure controls are in place and adhered to
• Ensure accounts payable transactions and account reconciliations are done efficiently and on time
• Maintain accounts payable sub-ledger and review vendor statements and aged payable reports
• Prepare and ensure timely remittance of various sales taxes
• Prepare analysis as required

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:

• Post-Secondary education in accounting, finance, or business
• Experience with process improvement/automation
• Previous management experience
• Experience with A/P processing
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• 6+ years progressive experience

Definite Assets:

• SAP Concur experience

Compensation, Perks & Opportunities:
