Preventative Maintenance Technician
Kitchener, ON
Compensation: Between $50,000-$65,000 depending on experience
Shift: M-F 2nd or 3rd TBD (3:30pm-12:00am or 11:30pm-7:00am)

Responsibilities:
- Working ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings
- Have a basic understanding of electrical systems
- Support preventative maintenance program in a safe and efficient manner with predictive and preventative maintenance activities
- Support daily troubleshooting and repairs on mass production equipment
- Use electrical and mechanical skills/knowledge to monitor, troubleshoot and maintain PM Program for a variety of equipment types (Robots, End of Arm Tooling, Conveyors, Vibration Welders, Detection Equipment, Auto Clip/Screw Equipment)
- Support production daily requirements for Quality and Delivery
Requirements:
- 3 years of related work experience (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics) or 2 years of Community College Technical / Mechanical discipline is required
- Experience preferences: the basic ability to read/understand electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong mechanical background
- Ability to prioritize and multitask projects and daily tasks
- Ability to work at heights
