Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Maintenance and Welding Worker for our client in SE of Calgary.

Shift: Monday to Friday

Time: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance duties
• Perform welding (Stick/Mig/Tig) for production and maintenance projects as well as various assembly and fabrication tasks
• Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances
• Start, observe, and diagnose machinery operation to detect any malfunctions or deficiencies and recommend corrective action
• Setup and monitor welding machines to comply with specified welding procedures
• Maintain clean and orderly work area

Qualifications:

• Experience with maintaining machinery
• Experience with Stick or Tig welding
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as angles, lengths, diameters, decimals, and fractions
• Comfortable working under minimal or limited supervision
• Be able to comfortably lift up to 50lbs.
