Position: Equipment Operators

Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta

Kichton Construction LP is looking for various Equipment Operators to join our fast-growing Fort McMurray team. We are looking for an adaptable individual looking to learn and grow within our company. This position would work for Kichton Construction LP at a client location.

This posting is seeking local operators for a job in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. There are no travel or camp accommodations provided.

Successful applicants must complete pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing.

This position may be required to complete random Drug & Alcohol testing throughout their employment in accordance with the Canadian Model based on project and Client requirements.

The shift for this position is 14 and 7. The shift is subject to change based on operational requirements.

Employees will be eligible for Company benefits after completing 90 days of employment.

Job Summary

We are currently filling the following positions:

• Excavator Operator
• Dozer Operator
• Grader Operator
• Loader Operator
• Haul Truck Operator
• Laborer

Responsibilities

• Review, understand, and follow all safe work practices and procedures.
• Operate Machinery in accordance with all Kichton Construction Safe Work Procedures and Client requirements
• Complete various paperwork. This includes, but is not limited to, Hazard Assessments, Pre- and Post- inspections, and time sheets
• Actively participate in Kichton Construction’s Health and Safety program
• Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or equivalent
• Must have a valid Driver's license without driving restrictions
• Prior experience working in the Oil Sands an asset

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
