Full-Time Library Technician
Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full-time Learning Commons Library Technician for École Olds Elementary School (Grades Pre-k-4). The successful candidate will be actively involved in creating an environment that is dynamic and collaborative for inquiry, with unlimited accessibility, where all learners are welcomed, engaged and supported in their personalized learning pursuits. This would also include: working with, and supporting, students through varying formats and roles, circulation, maintaining and updating the resources necessary for a school library, and providing research and resource support to students and staff at the school. Preference will be given to individuals who have Library Technician certification and who have Technology and Destiny experience.
We ask that applicants prepare both a cover letter and resume, complete with the names and telephone numbers of three current work related references.
