Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for customer requests, analyze problems, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Communicate technical information to nontechnical users
  • Troubleshoot desktop and printer hardware and software issues; resolve issues to the end user's satisfaction
  • Help to maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
  • Detailed and advanced troubleshooting of business applications and building technologies such as point-of-sale retail/ticketing systems.

Experience Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the resolution of issues related to desktop, applications, or network systems in a Windows environment OR A university degree or diploma in computer science recent graduate
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment and work within a team of like-minded individuals
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience supporting Windows-based environment
  • Functional knowledge of Network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
  • Experience with POS systems (RTP preferred)

Beneficial to have:

  • Experience working in a ticketing system with detailed note taking skills
  • Microsoft Office 365 support experience
  • Experience with Sophos, Dell, HP, Ubiquiti, or Meraki networking equipment
  • Hospitality customer service experience

Education:

  • A university degree, diploma in computer science or related IT certificates
  • Microsoft certification(s) MCSA or MCITP
  • CISCO certifications(s) CCNA

Requirements:

  • Must have a flexible schedule and be available weekends (shift work required).
