Journeyman Pipefitter for Permanent Facility & Maintenance Project Job at Weaver Group Ltd

Position: Journeyperson Pipefitter
Project Type: Plant & Facility Maintenance
Rotation: This is a permanent 5 on - 2 off rotation
Location: South of Grande Prairie
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plant and facility maintenance as per customer requirements and WGL guidelines
- Operate a variety of industrial facilities equipment and hand tools
- Work in both elevated and confined spaces including: vessels, tanks, platforms and towers
- Measure, cut, curve, gather and install piping, valves and fittings
- Use testing equipment to check for leaks and perform QA/QC checks
- Perform general duties as assigned
- Complete daily field tickets, field level hazard assessments and other documentation as required by the customer and WGL
- Comply with customer and WGL safety program, including safe work practices and procedures
Tickets/Certifications/Requirements:
- Red Seal, Journeyperson Pipefitter with minimum 2 years facility maintenance experience
- Minimum 5 yrs experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
- Standard First Aid, Level C
- H2S Alive
- CSO
- Fall Arrest, Confined Space & Aerial Platform an asset
- Valid Class 5
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
$45.00+ per hour, dependent upon experience.
