Veterinary Purchasing Co. Ltd. (VP) located in St. Marys, Ontario, is the largest Veterinary Supplier in Ontario and is currently looking to add a dynamic individual within our I.T. department for a permanent full-time position of:


Project Manager

This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the I.T. Manager. The successful candidate will lead a team of Business and Quality Assurance Analysts to manage successfully the effective and efficient delivery of business and technology initiatives.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product Owners and Business Sponsors
  • Create project timeline and goals
  • Develop project plans and provide ongoing status updates
  • Lead multifunctional projects
  • Track project performance
  • Ability to lead multiple projects with internal and external staff
  • Lead the Business Transformation team to create and streamline the project management lifecycle
  • Managing project financials and timelines
  • Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
  • Conducts self with regard for safety of employees; is aware of safety and evacuation procedures
  • Report to supervisor / manager any health & safety violations or hazards.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Report any health & safety violations or hazards to your Supervisor

Good manufacturing practices:

  • Follow and understand all relevant Standard Operating Procedures with respect to Good Manufacturing Practices


Skills and knowledge required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to lead others
  • Proven experience managing business and technology related projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • PMP or Prince 2 certification is an asset.

Salary is commensurate with experience.


Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm


Location: On-site preferred (485 Queen Street West St. Marys, ON) possible hybrid available.
