Position Purpose

Inventory Control/Problem Resolution Associates work as part of distribution centre team and their main purpose is to process and resolve issues for freight moved into the Problem Resolution Area. The ICPR Associate is also responsible for processing returns. All ICPR Associates are required to be licensed to safely operate powered lift equipment (i.e. forklift with pacer attachment or electric pallet jack [EPJ]) in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staffing and transportation product. A successful ICPR Associate must work safely, productively and accurately with minimal supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to internal distribution teams and to our stores
  • Perform all GWA functions (receiving, order selection, processing, palletizing, lift truck operations and loading of products) when needed
  • Process and resolve issues for freight moved into the Problem Resolution Area
  • Process Vendor Returns and Customer Returns
  • Perform Cycle Counting
  • Meet Safety expectations for this role as outlined under The Home Depot Canada Environmental Health & Safety Management System
  • Additional duties as assigned by your Operations Manager

  • Able to lift up to 69 pounds
