We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our industrial biotechnology division. The successful candidate will implement and develop biotechnology tools to convert plastic and agricultural wastes into value-added products and biofuels. The individual should be well-versed in microbial techniques, protein purification, enzymology and bioinformatics. Candidates with strong experimental experience in biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology or relevant fields are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent PhD is preferred; however, MSc graduates with experience in life science laboratories will be considered.
- Excellent organizational skills; able to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision in a team-oriented environment.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and range from $ 55-60K annually. This position is initially for one year. Part of this work will be performed at Laurentian University.
