Position Description:

We are currently seeking motivated, hardworking individuals for our HydroVac Operator role to work out of town with our Hydrovac divisions in BC and Alberta . Shift rotation will be 3 weeks on and 1 week off. This position will be a permanent, year round role. The camp is locations are in either Kamloops, Elkford, Kelowna, Prince George or Calgary. Housing, Camp or hotels will be provided.

Travel would be covered depending on location.

Position Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive a Hydro Vac and if experienced operator water truck, vac truck or Combovac.
• Perform high pressure wash and industrial vac in a safe and professional manner.
• Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, and breaks, troubleshoot issues and equipment, including preventative maintenance.
• Plan your trip according to the weather conditions.
• Follow safety policies and procedures for transporting materials.
• Maintain Logbooks, timesheets, and work orders according to rules and regulations.
• Must work well with others
• Additional duties may be required

Qualifications

• Minimum Class 3 OR 1 License
• Must be able to work out of town
• 2 - 5 years Truck driving experience
• Clean drivers abstract, and clean criminal search
• Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test

Preferred Experience:

• Truck driving in all weather conditions (3 years)
• Hydro Vac Experience (Minimum 2 year)
