Guest Service Agent required for Holiday Inn Express Metrotown. Position responsible for guest check in and checkout, guest accounting, guest reservations and information. Skills required include exceptional people skills, selling, accounting and familiarity with computers. Previous hotel, retail or airline experience is an asset. Must have a pleasant personality, professional appearance, ability to multi-task and attention to detail for this demanding position. Frequent interaction with the public and other team members require excellent communication skills in English. Fluency in additional languages is an asset. Position is available year round. Candidates must be available a variety of shifts including evening and weekend shifts.

Holiday Inn Express - Metrotown is located at 4405 Central Boulevard in Burnaby. Steps from Metrotown Mall and Metrotown Skytrain station. Our property features such amenities as complimentary hot breakfast buffet, swimming pool, fitness center and conference center. Adjacent to property is Station Square featuring a variety of restaurants and retail stores.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate is likely to have worked at least 3 years in a hotel or customer service environment, be able to demonstrate initiative and be someone who has a reputation for delivering great service. Preference given to candidates with Holiday Inn experience and knowledge of Opera property management systems
