We invite applications for the position of full-time Grocery Supervisor to join our Food Division team at our Station Square Food Store located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks within the Grocery department. Open availability is required.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks within the Grocery department
• Achieve budgeted goals related to sales, margin, expenses, and inventory and execute sales strategies that support North Central Co-op’s vision
• Achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery and identify areas for improvement
• Recruit, train, develop, coach, and motivate the department team while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

• You have previous Retail Grocery experience
• Retail Team Leadership experience would be an asset
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
• You have exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• You have strong time management and organizational skills
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
