The Embrun Co-op Your Independent Grocery is currently seeing a Grocery / Dairy / Frozen Manager to join its team.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this position is responsible for supervising, scheduling, and training all department staff. The Grocery / Dairy / Frozen Manager also ensures these sections of the store are neat, clean, and organized as well as adequately stocked. This position is also responsible for store opening and closing procedures in addition to responding to customer inquiries.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be a model of excellence in customer service on behalf of Embrun Co-op.
• Supervise, schedule, and train all department colleagues.
• Execute merchandising programs.
• Responsible for the health and safety of employees.
• Requires a knowledge of sales and net contribution.
• Responsible for loss prevention.
• Encourage and maintain excellent employee relations.
• Adhere to a strict cleaning schedule ensuring a high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Possess great customer service skills.
• Possess great communication skills both orally and written.
• Be bilingual - French / English.
• Three (3) years’ experience and a sound working knowledge of the food retail environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $24.00 per hour
