General Labour Job at Home Lumber
Home Lumber Inc. is a subsidiary of the ALPA Lumber Group and has been supporting homebuilders across Ontario by supplying them with lumber products for over 25 years.
We are currently looking for entry level general laborer's to work in our lumber yard and mill.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting forklift drivers with orders
- Operating machinery to manufacture lumber products
- Following Safety procedures such as safe lifting and wearing PPE
- Lifting/stacking lumber units and strapping them down
- Moving material and product
- General housekeeping in the lumber yard and/or mill
- General Cleaning of Washrooms / Lunch areas / Offices / Yard
Requirements
· Capable of working in an outdoor environment
· Ability to work in fast paced environment
· Warehouse/ Manufacturing and General Labour experience is an asset
· Ability to lift above 20 lbs
· Must have safety shoes
· Must be able to work long hours; 7-5pm Monday to Friday
