POSITION: GENERAL LABOUR (Day shift starts 6:00 am & Afternoon shift starts 3:30 pm)

Location: Ottawa Facility (2448 Huntley Rd, Stittsville ON)

JOB SUMMARY:

The purposes of this job are to assist in the manufacturing processes, preform those practices considering Health and Safety guidelines, and aligned with the organization’s strategy. This role will require keeping aisles and walkways clear and free of debris, assist the machine operators onloading and/or offloading and moving finished products to the staging area.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• The ability to understand and follow instructions
• The ability to perform a multitude of tasks including repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads/heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards change and the ability to adapt to new situations

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to establish priorities and work as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation needed for day shift due to bus schedule not arriving for shift.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
