We are currently seeking a broadly skilled Frontend Web Developer who will join the Development Team to build engaging frontend experiences following best practices for the modern web.

What You Will Do:
Build smooth, intuitive, and engaging user-facing experiences; as an experienced front-end developer you will be tasked to bring our designs to life. You are equally artist and scientist. You have an eye for design and the skills required to cut clean reusable code.
Participate in planning, wireframe/design reviews, estimation exercises; beyond the code you will be expected to bring ideas to the table to help form our approach and create solutions to solve project needs. This may include recommendations for platforms, frameworks, libraries and more. You will collaborate with our design team to inform the creation of wireframes and designs and review each to consider the implementation efforts. You will help develop estimates for level of effort and be responsible for identifying if a project is on or off track while underway.
Champion quality; You will participate in code reviews and QA your work as well as others on the team to ensure the solution that we are building satisfies the client’s need and works as intended. You have a sense of what edge cases we should consider and anticipate them when doing your work.
Embrace the modern web; You have experience with at least one frontend JavaScript framework (Vue/React) and will either use Nuxt or Next.js to build front-ends on Storyblok or headless-WordPress.
Work on the contemporary web too; many of our existing clients are on older monolithic stacks ranging that include WordPress, Shopify (Liquid), among others.
Service and support our roster of existing clients’ websites; You are responsible for maintaining the integrity of our roster of existing websites through monthly health checks, security patches, and ad-hoc development and patches.

You are not afraid to dig deep into a code base to fully understand why and how something works while working on a feature. You are curious about new technologies and aren’t afraid to step into a new framework or toolset to get the job done and are excited to share your learnings with the greater team.
You know your abilities and when to ask for help; you are confident in your abilities and are comfortable asserting yourself when you have an answer to a problem. You also understand that the success of the project comes first and in a supportive team environment it’s okay to not know the answer and reach out for help so the team can provide support.
You are a person of integrity; you say what you mean, mean what you say, and do what you’ll say you do. You are proactive with communication and leverage a variety of channels to provide timely and appropriate signals to your colleagues.
