Are you an ambitious Accountant with 1-5 years of experience looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a growing business? Join our team as a Mid-Level Accountant and contribute to the financial success of National Shunt. This full-time position offers the chance to apply your expertise while gaining valuable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of financial reporting, including weekly and monthly management reporting, including reporting, analysis, and supporting forecasting activities.
- Provide support in understanding and addressing variances to forecast.
- Accurately record and process key account transactions, including vendor invoice verification and entry.
- Review and allocate costs to ensure precise weekly and monthly reporting and key account reconciliations regularly.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with cash management activities, such as aged debtor reporting and follow-up.
- Actively participate in annual year-end audits conducted by external firms.
- Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place to support the finance function.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to support business growth and promote continuous improvement.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses to meet dynamic business demands.
Key Technical Skills:
- Actively pursuing CPA certification.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Sage, SAP, or another) is advantageous.
