Experienced Track Hoe Operator for Civil Construction Project Job at Weaver Group Ltd

We have grown from a single crew operation to a company that employs 500 full and part-time workers, with offices in Peace River, Grande Prairie, and Fort St John. Weaver is looking to add to our team!
Weaver Group is currently looking for an EXPERIENCED TRACK-HOE OPERATOR FOR CIVIL CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS.
General Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in heavy civil construction
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
- Calculate weight, distance, volume and length measurements
- Competent to operate on adverse terrain, in adverse weather, near power lines, near water lines and in tight work areas.
- Perform daily inspections, equipment maintenance and servicing and required paperwork.
- Identify safety risks and hazards and comply with relevant safety procedures and regulations
- Must have good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to self motivate while working independently.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience operating a track hoe in heavy civil construction
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Valid H2S, CSO, and Standard First Aid with Level C CPR, Ground Disturbance Level 2
Subcontractor rates available (Owner/operators welcome to apply).
Live out allowance available to those who qualify.
Wages dependent upon experience and contractor/employee status.

Salary: $34.00-$45.00 per hour
