For over 35 years we have been installing and servicing overhead doors and gate systems for both residential and commercial clients. Our staff of dynamic employees works together within a team-oriented environment to exceed the expectations of our customers.

Key Responsibilities: To install, repair and maintain overhead /rolling doors, operators and gate systems. You must have experience with Parking Gates, Operators, Rolling Doors and Sectional Doors (Gate Operator experience is an asset).

• Competitive hourly wage of $35.00-$50.00/hr or better depending on experience, and access to a benefit package after a successful 3-month probationary period

What We Require:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract (proof will be required)
• Min. of 2 years experience working as an overhead door technician
• Physically fit and able to lift a min. of 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights (ladders and lifts are used)
• Ability to drive forklift and scissor lifts
• Solid welding experience and competence
• Experience with electrical control wiring
• General construction knowledge, including experience with power and hand tools
• Mechanically and technically inclined
• Good communication and problem-solving skills, including strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude with motivation and the willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Ability to always represent Harbour Doors in a positive manner, maintaining a professional tone and approach to both verbal and written communications
