As an important member of the equipment service team the electrical equipment service associate is responsible for troubleshooting Stamping equipment failures, following up with permanent repairs, documenting all daily activities, and introducing counter measure activity for continuous improvement. *

Key Responsibilities:

• Effective core-time PM activity
• Downtime call support-Troubleshooting and repair
• Nonproduction activity preparation and coordination
• New equipment spec review and install support
• Parts ID and sourcing
• Daily communication
• Continuous technical skill improvement
• Incident reporting and countermeasure activity
• Project & theme activity

Position Requirements:

• Industrial Electrician (442A) or construction & maintenance Electrician (309A) Trade license with related post-secondary diploma or equivalent work-related exp.
• Strong computer skills that include Microsoft office, auto cad,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Robot programming experience (Fanuc, Motoman, ABB, KUKA),
• Motion control knowledge including Servo and VFD
• Read & troubleshoot electrical schematics and ladder diagram
• Strong PLC knowledge and ladder logic programming experience
• Utilize measurement equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures (Scope, DMM ,etc.)Experience with Maximo for logging maintenance activity and ordering part
• Strong mechanical aptitude including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and transfer equipment.
• Project management experience

Job related must haves:

• Willing and able to work overtime on short notice (Pre & post shift)
• Willing and able to travel internationally
• Willing and able to support production weekends and scheduled shutdowns
• Willing to work 3 shift rotation & modify work hours on short notice

Additional Information:

Equipment Services (Ticketed): Starting wage based on experience from $39.66 to $41.75 per hour

Equipment Services Technologist (Non-Ticketed): Starting wage based on experience from $35.07 to $41.75 per hour

Additionally, HCM provides weekly, monthly, and annual attendance bonuses, equaling a potential additional $1.40 per hour; a Team Achievement Bonus paid two times per year; an industry leading Defined Contribution (DC) pension that includes company contributions and company matching; and a comprehensive benefit plan that provides choice and flexibility with the cost subsidized by company contributions. HCM also provides shift premiums paid at 5% per hour up to $1.70 for afternoon shift, and 10% per hour up to $3.40 for the overnight shift.
