Taco Rio is open 7 days a week. We serve breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and drinks. Street parking is available. If you love Mexican food, fun vibes and cool people, this is your place!

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• regularly inspect machines for cleanliness and damage
• check the wash detergent and rinsing agent levels
• check washing temperature and rinsing temperature at their standard
• visually inspect all dishes and glassware for cleanliness upon cycle completion and put away in proper designated area
• soaks cutlery, used rags, and cleaning them
• cleaning pots and pans, machines

• keep the machine clean and in good condition
• ensure to change water regularly and clean food traps regularly
• keeps the dishwashing area clean and orderly, cleaning the walls and dish pit on a routine basis

• monitor and request supplies as needed i.e. detergent, sanitizer, scrub, etc.
• carry out all duties assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef

• perform any and all other job related tasks assigned by management

• recycle and remove garbage as necessary

• able to attend work reliably

Education, experience and skills required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a similar position required
• Food Safe Certificate
• WHMIS preferred
• ability to work independently and as a team member
• ability to multi task and take direction well
• ability to adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
• excellent time-management skills

• excellent problem solving skills
• able to safely lift, pull, push, or carry up to 50 lbs
• excellent organizational skills
• ability to follow policies and procedures according to company standards

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Salary: $17.00-$20.25 per hour
