Evova Foods Inc. is an innovative start-up company based in Saskatoon that has invested significantly to develop healthy, tasty snack products, with support from Saskatchewan’s commercial egg farmers. Evova’s snacks are already sold throughout Canada and the United States, but there is significant untapped potential for sales growth. That’s why we’re looking to add a dynamic, driven and determined sales and marketing leader.

Starting as Director of Sales and Retailer Relations, and with the potential to grow into a Chief Revenue Officer role, this individual will finalize and execute a new business-development strategy; identify and pursue new sales opportunities; nurture relationships with brokers, distributors and retailers; and drive revenue growth for the company.

Our ideal candidate will already have (or demonstrate an ability to quickly gain) an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape within the snack-food industry, including market trends, consumer preferences and retailer positions.

We’re also looking for our new Director of Sales and Retailer Relations to bring:

• A proven track record of negotiating and closing sales deals and driving revenue growth;
• A knack for tactfully developing and managing mutually beneficial relationships;
• A steadfast drive to achieve success and resilience in the face of rejection, viewing closed doors as opportunities to try again later;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort representing the company in high-level meetings and at tradeshow booths;
• Adaptability, eagerness to pitch in in every way needed to achieve the company’s objectives, and an ability to work independently with minimal oversight; and
• The ability and desire to travel throughout Canada and the United States to pursue sales opportunities and make deals.

The successful candidate will likely have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing), however we’re most interested in finding someone with the right characteristics, experience and potential.

Evova Foods is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saskatchewan Egg Producers (SEP) and operates out of SEP’s headquarters. Hybrid or remote work are possible with this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $85,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
