Managed by Atlific Hotels, the Marriott Victoria Inner Harbour Hotel is a full-service, four-diamond, 236-room hotel located downtown with over 5,000 square feet of functional meeting space.

The Director of Operations supports the performance of all operational departments within the hotel, (Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Operations, Culinary and Engineering/Maintenance) and the management of these Associates. A successful Director of Operations will strive to continually improve Guest and Associate satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of each department.

To be successfully in this role, one should fully understand, that:

· Operational goals are to be translated to the team as they relate to our business.

· Guest and Associate satisfaction results are clearly communicated and areas of improvement are clearly addressed and actioned.

· Assisting our Associates understanding of our Guest’s ever-changing needs and expectations, is paramount, and our goal must always be to exceed these expectations.

· Assisting our GM with Guest responses, interactions, as well adopt a targeted focus on ensuring our Guests complete satisfaction with their stay.

· Taking a proactive approach when dealing with our Guest and Associates is important.

· Communication and Goal setting/results sharing helps us all stay on track to exceed our Owners expectations.

· Leading by example in providing extraordinary customer service is not only desired, it is expected.

· Assisting the GM and Financial Controllers performing required audits is expected.

· Understanding and being able to coach, and mentor department heads on the respective financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data is critical.

What you bring to the table:

· Passion for the industry. Passion is a critical component for any successful candidate.

· Previous Director of Rooms Manager or Director of F&B experience with Marriott for a minimum of 3-5 years is expected. This is a minimum expectation.

· Experienced user with FSPMS, MARSHA, One Yield 2.0, High Performance Pricing, and other Marriott full-service systems.

· F&B leadership experience would be preferred.

· A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Business preferred.

· Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results.

· In-depth knowledge of the hotel operations.

· Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of performance and exceed targets.

Salary: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
