Delivery Driver Job at Canada Profi Lubricants Inc.
Canada Profi Lubricants Inc. is located in Vaughan (Highway 7 W), Ontario. Our company focuses on selling auto lubricants such as engine oil, car care, anti-freeze, etc.
We are currently looking for Delivery Driver to deliver our products to customers, in various locations in the GTA (Mississauga, Etobicoke and Oakville to begin with). The job requires a valid Ontario Driver’s Licence (Class G or up) driving the company van.
Some of the main duties for the position:
- Responsible for loading, safe delivery of company products to customers via company’s van and unloading them at the customer’s place
- Acting as the driver for sales representatives for hot sales
- Planning delivery schedules and delivering over established routes
- Recording and reporting information on pick-ups and deliveries, vehicle mileage and fuel costs, and report any incidents or problems encountered
- Completing and submitting necessary documents for the deliveries
- Accepting payments by customers and safely and reliably delivering it to the designated company personnel
- Performing pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Fulfilling other tasks assigned by company personnel
Key requirements:
- Have a high school diploma
- Have a valid Ontario driver’s licence (Class G or up) and a good driving record
- Be able to drive a van and abide by all transportation laws
- Be familiar with the GTA and have the ability to use GPS
- Keep the company van clean
- Have ability and training to manually lift and carry up to 50 lbs or up to the weight limit determined by law from time to time
- Must be punctual
- Have adequate English skills
- Have strong customer service skills
- Have a minimum 2-3 years of safe driving experience as a Delivery Driver (This is an asset, but not a requirement)
- Must be eligible for bonding and insuring
- Must complete a criminal background check
