This inventory is for casual employment which is a temporary employment of 90 working days or less, in a calendar year.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
EDUCATION:
- Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
Degree equivalency:
Degree equivalency
- Recent experience working in food services within a commercial or institutional setting.
- Experience in the preparation and distribution of short order cooking.
- Knowledge of food preparation and service techniques (e.g. portion control, measuring ingredients, operating kitchen equipment etc).
- Knowledge of preparation and food handling procedures.
- Knowledge of workplace safety requirements, hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Knowledge of safe lifting and carrying techniques.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations accurately.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally.
- Ability to provide training.
- Work in a team
- Judgment
- Dependability

EDUCATION:
- Successful completion of a secondary school diploma.
- Possession of a valid recognized Safe Food Handling Program certification.
- Professional Culinary Art diploma.
Degree equivalency
- Experience working with cash register or Point of sale system.
- Experience working in a correctional environment (institutional or community office).
