Hospitality Services at the University of Guelph is looking for responsible and dedicated cooks to join its Award-winning Culinary Team. The department runs a substantial dining operation that caters to 5000 students in Residence, 12,000-day students and over 3000 employees. The department also has a bustling Catering/Conference operation with hundreds of events .

The 3rd Cook we are looking for has a minimum of 3 years in a full-time role, obtained a Red Seal or working towards it, excellent culinary knowledge, communicates well, sound organizational skills, and can work in a very fast-paced environment.
The 3rd Cook will work under the direct supervision of a Sous Chef or a Head Cook. The incumbent must have the ability to produce food, without waste, at varying levels of sales. In addition to operating all kitchen equipment, the incumbent will be responsible for the cleanliness of this equipment and the immediate area and perform various kitchen tasks and other duties. The incumbent must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
