The AWC Company is one of the few companies that specializes in the design and manufacture of moulds for the die casting and foam automotive seating industry.

Who are you?

• You have 2+ years of experience working with 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.
• You enjoy the craft of CNC machining, and never want to be referred to as a “button pusher”.
• You are fantastic with numbers, measurements and can use vernier calipers with ease.
• You may have just recently graduated from an accredited CNC machining post secondary school.
• You believe in the power of training, and enjoy taking instructions to better yourself and grow within the companies you work for.
• You are a perfectionist - exact measurements make you a happy person

What will you be doing?

Working within our Courtice facility on a Day shift with one afternoon shift a month your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Plan and coordinate your job specs with supervisor
• Set up, supervise, and oversee 3 and 5 axis CNC machines while simultaneously executing tasks and making any necessary adjustments to the tooling and machines to produce quality results
• Consistently communicate with supervisor and quality control to ensure production of top notch product
• You will be expected to prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines independently
• Conduct first-runs, part, and sample workpieces to ensure the outputs according to specifications
• Fully Inspect and measure finished products for stated dimensions and surface imperfections
