Job Summary

Bring your expertise in organization and prioritization

The Ministry of Forests is responsible for the stewardship of provincial Crown land and ensures the sustainable management of forest, wildlife, water and other land-based resources. The Ministry works with Indigenous and rural communities to strengthen and diversify their economies.

Reporting to an Excluded Manager, the Office Services Supervisor provides support to program management and staff and coordinates office administration functions, natural resource authorizations and permitting, human resources, Front Counter BC services, finance, records management, facilities and asset management within the natural resource district or Front Counter BC office.

Job Requirements:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent
  • Experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff
  • Experience leading others
  • Preference may be given to applicants who have a combination of 3 years of related experience, education and/or training (e.g. clerical or administrative support)
  • Preference may be given to applicants who have experience with tenures administration
