Client Services and Research Assistant

The Client Service and Research Assistant position is a full time, seasonal position for 12 weeks starting on June 1, 2023. 32 hours per week, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.

The position will be funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Grant and is open to youth aged 15-30 years.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out research interviews and data collection in collaboration with and under the direction of management

• Collect and log data and client interview answers

• Prepare graphs and spreadsheets to portray results

• Create presentations and reports to present findings

• Maintain client confidentiality

• Provide insights that will improving systems to ensure best client centered services and efficiencies

• Help unload, process, organize, and properly store donations

• Work cooperatively with staff and volunteers

• Other duties as required

Qualifications and skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Highly detailed-oriented

• Excellent work ethic, communication, and time management skills

• Sensitive and compassionate, able to work with vulnerable and marginalized people in a client centred manner

• Organized and proactive

• Punctual with reliable form of transportation

• Full G class license with a clean drivers abstract

• Able to lift/move up to 25 lbs

• Desire to support and promote our values and mission
