Cleaner (Night Shift) Job at Burnbrae Farms
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Production Supervisors, the Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring Production facility are cleaned and meeting HACCP requirements. The position will consist of cleaning, tidying, and sanitizing.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Empty garbage and recycling in production area
- Clean washrooms and sanitize, mop floors
- Sweep and mop production offices
- power washing
- Working with chemicals
- Load dishwasher and clean up both office and production lunchrooms
- Refill dispensers for hand towels, toilet paper, soap, etc
- Clean Glass doors and windows
- Other cleaning as requested
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Excellent attendance and punctuality is a must!
- Physically fit and capable of completing repetitive tasks with the ability to perform heavy lifting (able to squat, push, pull)
- Highly detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
- Team oriented and ability to multi-task Must be able to wear PPE including steel toe boots, hairnet, face mask(COVID protocol only), and hearing protection
- Knowledge of safe food processing an asset
Successful applicants will be required to work 5:30pm to 4:00am monday -Thursday. Occasional Overtime may be required.
