Position: Chiropractor

E Clinic United Healing is a privately operated, inter-professional facility that specializes in the treatment of individuals who have sustained injuries in a motor vehicle accident. We have a team of regulated health care professionals that provide services to our clients in a positive, professional, and welcoming environment and in a client centered approach. We are currently looking for a Chiropractor to work in our Scarborough Clinic.

Position Summary:

The Clinic Chiropractor will be physically working in our Scarborough clinic location and will be primarily working with individuals that have sustained an injury in a Motor Vehicle accident and facilitating their treatment/rehabilitation plans and support the clients within their scope of practice. The Chiropractor will be working with a Chiropractor Assistant, our multidisciplinary professionals as well as our administrative support staff.

• Member in Good Standing with the CCO
• Commitment to professionalism, effective time management and positive attitude
• Ability to provide a consistent schedule that is reliable

Responsibilites Include:

• Take detailed medical histories of patients, including information on previous injuries, surgery, general health and lifestyle;
• Conduct physical examinations, focusing on the spine and posture, and noting the range of movement;
• Diagnosis and explain diagnosis to patients;
• Provide active and passive therapy using various modalities;
• Educate and advise patients on rehabilitation exercises to aid long-term recovery and techniques to ensure health is maintained;
• Maintain and keep accurate clinical records in a confidential and secure manner; and
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Memberships:

• Member and be in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario
• Graduate from an accredited Chiropractic College

Experience:

• Experience working in the MVA Industry an asset and SABS
• 3 years working in a treatment/rehabilitation setting and with a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge and Skills

• Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing
• Excellent organizational skills and time management
• Commitment to continuous professional development and best practices
• Motivated and comfortable developing and building rapport a diverse demographic

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Salary: $46,800.00-$93,600.00 per year
