The folks from Le Hibou in Wakefield are building a team for the new Oiseau Bleu global haute cuisine restaurant located at the recently revived Motel Chelsea. Be part of a new and exciting kitchen. Bring a great attitude and experience in the industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the standard of quality and consistency is maintained, developing new menu items, managing costs, promoting a positive guest-first attitude in the restaurant and supporting your team in being the best they can be. Competitive salary commensurate with experience. We look after our people and expect a normal 40 hour work week.
Situated in the Gatineau Hills, where the river and forest trails merge with a vibrant arts culture, Motel Chelsea is a hub of natural and man-made beauty, and local community. An art motel with 7 rooms and 2 two-bedroom suites, a restaurant, fine food shop, and an event space, the Motel Chelsea features curated local art, vintage touches with modern appointments, and globally-inspired food and beverage menus that capitalize on the abundance of local farmers in the area. An escape to nature where locals, foodies, culture -seekers, and travellers intersect.

Salary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
