About This Role
The Business Banking Servicing Platform team is building out an ecosystem that serves the day-to day banking needs of companies from small businesses to large corporations. The end users of this platform will include our internal staff as well as our external customers. The platform enhances the Business Bank’s servicing capabilities across payments, managing products and services, managing users and their entitlements, user authentication, reporting, notifications and messaging, cash management and advice capabilities.We are seeking highly motivated and capable software frontend engineer to embrace a broad range of tasks associated with developing application and systems solutions to address business challenges. This role will help expand your knowledge, strengthen your expertise, and introduce you to the inner workings of our business alongside a team of seasoned technology professionals.
- Deliver effective and efficient solutions by meeting milestones and ensuring project deliverables are on time and adhere to the corporate quality and security standards.
- Participate in complex applications and systems development
- Aim for defect-free programming, create, and maintain quality code, provide support during testing cycles and post-production deployment, engage in peer code reviews to address standards compliance, reusability and ease of maintenance.
- Develop a process to identify and resolve any technical issues and facilitate stakeholder communication.
- Configure and develop custom components with technology partners (analysts, developers, designers etc.) and suggest feature enhancements to meet requirements and goals.
- Proactively put forward ideas that speak to project objectives (e.g. development, testing solutions, and tools) and look for opportunities that enable process improvement.
- Respect TD's technology delivery practices and standards, project management disciplines, business technology architecture, and risk and production capacity – this includes thorough project requirements, documentation, scope estimations, cost analysis and status updates.
- Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents/outages.
- Knowledge of Agile and SDLC/PMLC processes is preferred
Job Requirements

- Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
- 10 years of relevant experience with Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and related skills.
- Advanced and extensive knowledge of the business (or organization), technical environment, standards, processes, procedures, programming languages and operating systems.
- Expertise in coaching and advising clients, partners, and project teams.
- Commitment to deliver secure and quality code.
- Ability to work autonomously, insulating your team from noise, and keeping peers and leadership informed about progress and impediments.
- A high standard in everything you do. You question and listen, actively address problems you identify, and own your work
