Working days: Monday to Friday
No Weekends or Holidays
Shift Working Hours: 6:00AM – 2:30PM (end time may vary ie. dependent upon unforseen delays, freight and or route coverage)

Overtime: Overtime is based on freight volume, weather, mechanical delays etc.

What you will do as a Dock Worker (Main Role):

• Sort/scan freight for deliveries
• Organizing warehouse with the freight
• Clean warehouse (sweeping/use of a floor scrubber)
• Other duties as assigned

What you will do as a Delivery Driver:

• Drive a 3 ton commercial truck to deliver and or pick up freights to assigned stops in the Moncton - Sussex areas
• Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time(approximately 20 to 30 deliveries/day)

Lift and carry freight weighing up to 60lbs.

• Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
• Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a pallet truck
• Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
• Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
• Report on all safety hazards and accidents
• Use a cellular phone to communicate with Dispatch, Lead Hand and Manager ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc….
• Provide excellent customer service
• Build strong client relationships
• Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
• Additional duties as required

What we require of you:

• High School Diploma
• Valid Class 5 License is a must
• Possess a Clean Commercial and Personal Driver’s Abstract
• Courier or LTL experience is an asset

Minimum 1 year Commercial/Courier delivery driving experience in a 3 Ton Truck or higher

• 1 year Warehouse working experience is an asset
• This shift will be Monday to Friday from 6AM to 230PM

Lift freight up to 60 lbs. and load in proper sequence of delivery with the use of a pallet truck

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
• Customer Focus – experience providing quality customer service

• Experience working in a fast paced environment
• Experience working independently and with minimal supervision
