The incumbent will be responsible for the safe, efficient and effective handling of flights in and out of the Kelowna Airport. Reporting to the YVR General Manager, this position will oversee all airport functions and ensure Air North standards and policies are upheld. Serving as a leader by providing guidance to service provider regarding safety, customer service and performance management to ensure level of standards are maintained. This is an exciting, fast-paced, and time-critical place to be, right at the center of the action.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Effective written and verbal English communication skills

· Exceptional organizational and time management skills

· Strong computer skills

· Demonstrated supervisory/leadership experience

· Proven ability to make critical decision, effective conflict resolution skills

· Travel, as required to support other outstations

· Shift scheduled based around flights (evenings, mornings, weekends etc. required)

Qualifications/Conditions of Employment

· Understandings of eAPIS, E-Secure and CBSA reports

· Minimum 6 month’s experience as a Passenger Services Lead or Supervisor

· Valid driver’s license (minimum class 5) with a clean abstract

· Must be able to obtain a Transport Canada Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)

· Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or show proof of right to work in Canada
