PowerTraxx Vehicles Inc. is an industry leading manufacturer of off-road tracked vehicles servicing the electric utility, pipeline, drilling & exploration, construction, forestry, and other off-road industries. PowerTraxx offers a wide range of personnel carriers, material haulers, and carriers ready to be equipped with a vast array of devices such as aerial work platforms, construction cranes, digger-derrick’s, drills, etc.

We are currently seeking full time Track Assemblers to join our team in Whitefish, ON!

The Position

The Track Assembler is responsible for performing all aspects of the track assembly process for off-road tracked units in production at our manufacturing facility.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assemble vehicle tracks using belting and required hardware;
  • Punch rubber belting for tracks with hydraulic press;
  • Operate various pneumatic tools;
  • Work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team;
  • Adhere to all PowerTraxx policies, procedures and safe work practices; and,
  • Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience is not required, training is available;
  • Experience working in a machine shop or fabricating environment would be considered a strong asset;
  • Experience using pneumatic tools would be considered a strong asset;
  • Must have ability to lift up to 50lbs;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with others; and,
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
