We are currently looking for High School, College and University Students to fill 2 to 4 month contracts as Packaging Operator positions from beginning of May to end of August or beginning of July to end of August.

This position is based on 40 hours per week with optional overtime. All hours worked after 40 hours are at 1.5x your regular rate and all hours worked on Sunday are at Double Time (2x regular rate!)

Afternoon Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 3:30PM to 11:30PM

Afternoon Shift Wage: $18.01 per hour

Night Shift Hours: Sunday to Thursday 11:30PM to 7:30AM

Night Shift Wage: $18.41 per hour

What you'll do:

• Package product while ensuring good seals and legible & accurate date codes
• Pile skids and wrap according to packaging slip sheet
• Set up and changeover packaging for the machinery making necessary adjustments to ensure efficient packaging of product
• Assist with sanitation duties as required

What you'll have:

• Positive attitude
• Currently enrolled in secondary or post-secondary education
• Ability to continuously lift 50lbs without assistance (rotating positions that allow for ergonomic breaks)
• Reliable vehicle to travel to and from work (as there is no bus route that travels out here)
• Previous packaging and manufacturing experience an asset
