Structural Engineer Partner Job at West Coast Pre Fab

West Coast Pre Fab Chemainus, BC

West Coast Pre Fab is a Chemainus based mechanical maintenance and fabrication company. Our shop team bids, details, fabricates and in many cases erects, hundreds of thousands of pounds of steel every year.

To expand our engineering team, we are looking for a driven Structural Engineer to partner in a branch of our business. As such, compensation and financial rewards are flexible and are almost unlimited.

Our current technical team focuses on executing and managing of projects. A successful applicant would have experience with design engineering, loading and seismic analysis of steel structures. They would need to be competent and experienced as we can provide support but not technical review.

This is a permanent full-time position with plenty of opportunity to take on stimulating, challenging and varied work across commercial and industrial sites and plants.

The following description is based on an Intermediate or Senior Civil Structural Engineer. Being part of the business division as a partner can take many forms. It could be as an active face, pushing into new work, or daily team management, or it could be more as a silent partner, focusing on the technical work but benefiting from the division’s success.

All those meeting the non-negotiable requirements are invited to apply but we may not be able to contact candidates not pre-selected. Please reach out if you want to discuss in addition to applying here. Ensure you apply here to keep the shortlist active.
