Looking for an EXPERIENCED freelance Social Media assistant for busy Interior Design Influencer in Chilliwack. We are a small team in a busy interior design & decor environment looking for creative assistance for a series of influencer posts, photos and video shoots.

The office is located in Chilliwack and you will be required to work on site.

Hourly paid and can become full-time with growth potential for the right person.

Ideal Candidate:

• Can work within a small team structure independently and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a self-starter with initiative and enthusiasm
• An eye for detail with a high level of production quality
• Savvy on all things social and up to date on all social media trends
• Is creative and loves styling, fashion and all things interior design
• Is very organized and uses a system for planning and execution
• Is flexible and energetic and physically fit – can carry 30 lbs.
• Has vision from concept to posted video execution
• Has own car and valid class 5 driver's license
• Must love dogs and interior design
• Up-to-date on the newest tools and changes to platforms

Required experience:

• Professional social media experience
• Setup or create video content for all social media outlets including: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest,
• Photography/videography experience using smart phone or camera
• Ability to edit photographs and videos for social media engagement
• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop or similar
• Organizational skills for schedules and photo set-up
• A great eye for photo composition
• An online presence and portfolio
• Understanding and expertise in using current social media tools and techniques
• Any academic or work experience in market research, marketing campaign development, event marketing and social media marketing, or some combination of the above is a bonus

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Help plan, organize, shoot and edit video segments for Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Facebook and other platforms
• Monitor and assist manager with social channels, social media calendar, comments and engagement
• Load short videos and add text using Canva
• Set up photo/video shoots with lighting, props to get ‘the best shot’
• Working directly with the founder you bring your ideas and help create visual content for our email newsletters, blog, and social media platforms
• Will be involved in many different types of projects across many areas of marketing.
