Job requirements and qualifications:

  • 2 year min. of experience as a Social Media Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator or similar role
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube shorts, Tik Tok, Twitter, and other social media best practices
  • Photography & video skills for social / ad campaign content
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience in graphic design and good knowledge of Adobe Suite applications
  • Knowledge of later scheduling platform considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of mailerlite, mailchimp and/or e-newsletter platforms considered an asset.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends for event content / socials
  • Have or will obtain Serving it Right Certificate

Job Description: Social Media/Design/Admin Tasks

Admin Tasks

· Answering phone (shared)

· Bookings (shared)

· Monitoring general hello inbox (shared)

· Posting events on all free online event sites

Instagram/Facebook/Tiktok

· Responsible for creating all social content on various platforms such as; Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and Youtube Shorts (3-4 posts per week).

· Monthly social strategy and trend research.

· Scheduling posts in Later

· Daily engagement on all social platforms – commenting, replying to messages, finding new accounts to follow

· Weekly goals and analytics (every Monday compare goals with actual numbers)

· Monthly reports (to be prepared for the first Tuesday of each month)

· Scouting influencers for marketing campaigns (events and general)

· Coordinating monthly giveaways with collaborations

· Direct Message Campaigns

Newsletter

· Schedule and create bi-weekly newsletters incorporating promotions, events, wine pairings, etc.

· Goals to help increase our newsletter audience

· Create and manage newsletter niche lists - art gallery VIP list, events, vendors, wine

Ad Campaigns

· Creating general branding ad campaigns on google, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

· Event-specific ads on Facebook and Instagram

· Ad analysis report to be completed at the end of each month with the social media analytics

· Influencer campaigns

Website

· Updating events calendar

· Changes to any page/event content

· Creating new pages as needed

· Creating new product listings

· Updating page information

Design

· Handouts for tasting room

· Graphics for events

· Photography around the winery – Events, lifestyle, product vineyard

· Videography – creating video content for ads, tour companies, TVs etc - Events, lifestyle, product, vineyard

· Event assets

· Business cards

· Updating tasting menus

· Tabletop menus and happy hour menus

· Price labels for retail

· Digital Posters for Tourism Kelowna

In order to create and capture engaging content around the winery, this role will require you to work a few hours on event days which include some evenings and weekends (social content, photos, video, live coverage etc)

Salary negotiable and based on experience and room for growth in this position.
