We are a busy well established Langley based General Contracting Company looking for a Reliable F/T Skilled Laborer to join our team immediately.

Job Description:

Pay: $30-$35/hr to start based on experience

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Skilled Laborer who has experience with hardscaping. Our projects consist mainly of forming and prepping for concrete driveways, sidewalks, patios, hot tub pads, walkways etc. We also do foundations and specialty concrete bases for large waste water and fresh water tanks in various locations around BC. We build retaining walls and lay pavers. We are looking for someone with those specialty skills to join our team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, shoring
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Assist heavy equipment operators
• Level earth to fine grade specifications
• Compact
• Jackhammer
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Tend of fee machines for equipment used in construction
• Form and prep for concrete (driveways, sidewalks, patios, foundations etc)
• Lay pipe
• Lay rebar
• Install retaining walls
• Install pavers
• Qualifications and Skills:
• You will bring the following qualifications and skills to the team:
• Available to work Monday to Friday.
• Must be willing to work in bad weather
• Willing to work Out of town projects with non-standard days/hours
• Valid driver's license with low/no points
• Reliable transportation to and from designated job locations. NO transit available.
• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50Lbs
• Ability to work in adverse conditions
• Ability to drive and safely operate heavy duty pick up truck with trailer
• Ability to follow direction
• Willingness to function as part of a team
• Fall protection, confined space and Aerial Lift tickets are great assets but not required. We will provide paid training for these

This job is:

• A job for someone who has 2-3 years experience or more with concrete forming and prepping. Laying and cutting rebar. Placing and finishing a definite asset.
• A team player that is capable of working independently and lead a team as required
