Location: Keele and Langstaff - Vaughan - Brand New Plant

Overnight Shift: 3:00 – 11:30 PM (Monday – Friday)

CMI sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!

Here’s where you come in!
CMI is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Afternoon shift. You will be trained to operate various pieces of equipment, process and prepare recycled metals for shipment to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate equipment to move material
• Sort Material
• Load and unload material in machines and containers
• Learn to operate a variety of other pieces of heavy equipment
• General housekeeping

We think it would be awesome if you have:

• Previous experience with a Front-End Loaders or other Heavy Equipment
• Heavy Equipment Operator certification is an asset
• Strong English communication skills
• Previous experience working outdoors
• Previous experience in an industrial facility
