Whitecap is actively seeking an experienced SharePoint Solutions Architect. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and related Microsoft cloud solutions. What will be expected of the SharePoint and Power Platform Delivery Lead.

  • Working collaboratively with technical, management, and client teams to deliver the highest quality SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
  • Seamlessly delivering on all aspects of projects including requirements definition, solution design, prototyping, development, integrations, technical specs, technical and integration support.
  • Ability to understand client business goals and architect a solution that aligns with their processes and objectives.
  • Effectively leading client meetings, workshops and presenting requirement documents and proposed design solutions.
  • Demonstrate vision, leadership, and technical guidance to the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participating in presales to help team prepare and present customized solutions, provide inputs to project plans, scope, and cost estimates.
  • Stay current on SharePoint and related technologies, particularly Power Platform and Azure cloud technologies that support the solution.
  • Faithfully representing Whitecap values of honesty, integrity, creativity, community, fun and putting our customers at the center of everything we do.

What will help you succeed.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in building solutions using Microsoft SharePoint, Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Proven experience as a SharePoint technical lead, technical architect, or solutions architect.
  • Experience working with the SharePoint to build custom workflows and applications.
  • Extensive experience with the .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C# development and various JavaScript frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, Logic Apps, Microsoft/Office Graph, and SharePoint Modern Pages/Web Parts preferred.
  • Expertise in leading a SharePoint migration.
  • Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business challenges, and streamline/automate business processes.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, communication skills.
  • Experience with leading or participating in the gathering and documenting of business processes and requirements with key stakeholders.

Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. But these would help propel your candidacy:

  • Professional certification in SharePoint, Power Platform and/or Azure.
  • Experience with integration services such as SSIS/ShareGate, Microsoft Flow, and Azure Integration Services.
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting-based technology.
  • Experience with responsive design and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET both MVC, WebForms and API based development.
  • Scrum methodology awareness and previous work in an agile environment.
